TF2 Scores - About
tf2scores.com is a global scoreboard service provided for the community.
tf2scores.com does not require any mods to the game servers or clients.
tf2scores.com does not use hlstatsx.
tf2scores.com is implemented using the existing udp query protocols.
tf2scores.com has some limitations listed below.
tf2scores.com includes now also 32 player servers as requested.
tf2scores.com tracks all the team fortress 2 servers:
Players Tracked: 403785
Servers Tracked: 17520
Maps Tracked: 2627
Clans Tracked: 96
Ratings: 7010
Sites: 37
The ranking on tf2scores.com works as follows:
1) Continent server lists are requested from steam master server.
2) All servers are polled every 3 minutes for player score lists.
3) Players who have been playing minimum 10 minutes are compared in pairs.
- The comparison is based solely on score value
- When player one has higher score than player two =>
Points Granted = 0.1 * (Opponent Skill - Own Skill + 200) / 400
(Grant the higher scorer 0.1 skill points if the opponent is 200 skill points better and
0 points if he is 200 skill points worse ranked.)
- Exceptions:
* Skill level can not drop under 0
* If player one is already 200 skill points higher than player two =>
No skill point changes occur
* Maximum skill change in either direction is 0.1
To gain skill you need to play with people who are inside 100 skill
points from your skill level.
Limitations:
1) Support for ASCII names only.
2) Players are identified by name. Use unique in game name. For example clan tag and name.
3) Score is the score value shown in the server window which is at the moment kill count.
