| 7/31/2008 12:11:41 AM | Rumble | Load is approximate population percentage = (player count / max player count) * 100% |
| 7/31/2008 12:10:32 AM | Rumble | Still he would get + only for the 3 minute period he had the burst and steady player would get for the rest. Over time it would favor the player with steady performance. |
| 7/29/2008 10:44:31 AM | abc | Its not such an issue now, but if you were to do the interval score checks then with the without that you'd disadvantage 'burst' players. E.g A scores 20,5,5,5 over 4 intervals while B scores 0,6,6,6. Not sure B should be rated higher after that? |
| 7/29/2008 10:40:39 AM | abc | Have you considered making the difference in score a factor (rather than just who has more)? E.g. A is rated 100, B is rated 50. A scores 15 points, B scores 10 points. A should go DOWN and B UP, because A isnt 2x the score of B (but is 2x the rating) |
| 7/29/2008 12:32:44 AM | hi! | what does "Load" mean in the server ranking and why is some of the thumbs up/down-thinges gray or black for some servers? |
| 7/28/2008 12:19:03 AM | Rumble | I have been considering of tracking score change instead of absolute score but it does get a bit more complex to explain and verify. It is doable though. Any further thoughts about this algorithm? |
| 7/27/2008 6:24:01 PM | santas little bitch | map as often as the average server. Just look at the top servers and where the top players are and you will find lots of 24/7 servers. |
| 7/27/2008 6:22:18 PM | santas little bitch | I agree. I played at a 32 player 24/7 2fort server and I was in the top after an hour which made my score here a lot higher. After playing as I usually do (normal servers) I went straight down again. Its too rewarding to play at servers that doesnt change |
